I am developing Server Based application using C#. Its name is Travrays.exe. Still now I don't have aware of antivirus blocking. Now I went to release stage. Now my application spreading to clients one by one. When my client install Travrays.exe(setup.exe) application file gets deleted by antivirus software. I cant mention antivirus name because n number of client and n number of antivirus. Here by I have three options. 1. Uninstall Antivirus (Some of my clients not accepting that) 2. Make my application is trusted for that antivirus. 3. Something to do to escape form antivirus.

Please help me for this. I have made big investment for this.

Note* My application reading MAC address of the computer. Will it be the corner, if it is so, how to overcome that.

Antivirus software mostly make notes on blocked/deleted software and the cause of the block/delete...
Please check for such a note - maybe your exe infected with some virus...

Do you have an antivirus installed on your development machine? Have you tried scanning your installer and/or EXE on another machine with a different AV?

Describe the exact moment when antivirus stops your program:
- is the setup process interrupted?
- does the setup program start the application, and antivirus stops it here?
- does antivirus stop it when it is run the first time by a user?
- if so, at which step of program execution (see log files of your application)?

If all else fails, talk to the AV manufacturers - explain your problem and they might help you.

But it's very likely that you app is doing something naughty, that the AV software is considering as "virus like behaviour". What, we can't tell.
