After i finish writing a program

this might sound stupid, but how do i make it into a file that I could say upload and let people download and use it

im using visual studio 2010 if that matters.

Solution 1

Compile it.

The resulting EXE is in the bin directory (or other directory if configured differently). You can then use programs like Advanced Installer or Wix in order to create an installer. You can zip it up and save it to a website somewhere. If its really neat, write an article about it on CodeProject and offer it along with the source for download.
