I have installed windows XP mode on Windows 7 and I want to access the c drive files of windows 7 from windows XP mode.

Who needs "XP Mode"? Only if you created or use a lot of less-than-correct software. The question looks irrelevant to that. Access is access, it has nothing special: file system object path names and permissions. What's the problem?

Host machine? You never mentioned network drive, you only mentioned "C". Well, did you share the directory properly, connected to right domain, etc..?
This is not even a development problem (off-topic?)...

This is not a programming question. I believe there is an option to share resources.

Microsoft changed the network interface between Windows XP and Windows Vista, and again between Windows Vista and Windows 7, and introduced some breaking changes in both transitions. The easiest way to get all machine types to talk is by making some changes on the Windows 7 computers.
