Required Field Validator is not working.

The Required Field Validator is not working, if i add Validationgroup="None" to a button.
Does anyone have idea on this issue ?

cause validation is false in property then works
and control to validate = "buttonid"

You have to specify the control to validate control, and better use the validation group proper name.
