Why? I'm not 100% sure it's even possible, but why?

I would differ with you on that. In fact it is sort of sad that it no longer is supported. It was much easier for non-programmers to learn. VB.NET has a pretty steep learning curve (in fact I think that there is no reason to use VB.NET, just use C#). Obviously, not very good for professional development.

If I were you i will do it from start with VB.

if you want that someone get a headache, ask him to convert it to VB.

v2
You can try to move the code to C#, and then you can use the Microsoft tool described in http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc163652.aspx[^]
PasteAs.exe (875 KB)

Hope this helps

You are just wasting your time trying to do something which makes no sense. Throw out this VB6, which was nothing good even at the moment of its release.

There are actually tools in the next release of Visual Studio to covnert to VB.NET. VB 6 there are tools to do the reverse I beleive. Sorry, thought you wanted to convert to VB.NET. I believe the Anders presents this in the following video: http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/BUILD/BUILD2011/TOOL-816T
