Dear Smitha
I read an article you posted many years ago on reading metadata in c#. I took your sample and ran it, and found that while it returned some file information, it didn't really seem to return comprehensive metadata.

My thought is that maybe this is because things have changed so much.

I am writing to you because of all the examples I have found, read, and worked through, yours was not only the easiest to comprehend, but, made the most sense to me.

I am no longer a developer in IT, I am on the manager side, but, I am also a photographer. I am attempting to write a small application that can extract metadata/keywords from my image files so that I can build my comprehensive library of my thousands of images for easy searching. Yes, I can use lightroom or bridge, but really I want something light, that I can customize the way I want it.

If you have any information that could help me I would greatly appreciate it. Again, I am not a c# expert, but, given my experience, I am work my way through it as best I can.

I hope to hear back

Regards
Dave
