Using js to highlight a item using key codes. I want to use the enter key and left and right arrows

In my project, https://codepen.io/Hio3966/pen/poepGEe[^] I have a list set up. Using up and down arrow keys will select a item on that list. I want to be able to use the enter key to select the highlighted item. For example, the item is a link, when I press the the enter key I want it to activate that link. I also would like to utilize the left and right arrow keys, I want list items to the sides of the original list so that I can move the highlight to the left or right. Can this be done?
