How do I code an array that stores a given date in the format MM-DD-YYYY

The array should store the date entered by 5 users in the format MM-DD-YYYY .
And the results should be displayed as columns and rows .

What I have tried:

C++

    int date[25];
    int i;

        printf("Enter the date : ");

Despite the similar names, C and C# are not the same language. You have tagged your question incorrectly as "C#".

Short answer: you don't.

You should store dates and times as time values (see time, _time32, _time64 | Microsoft Docs[^]). The only time you need them in a specific format is when you want to display them in human readable form.
