TCP/IP Protocol Suite (McGraw-Hill Forouzan Networking) 4th Edition
by Behrouz A. Forouzan (Author) looks good but are there other books better?

What I have tried:

I've looked at bestsellers on Amazon but I'm not able to decide. Note that I'm not looking for beginners type of book, just comprehensive information about networking in general.

Depends. Any book will do, unless you are doing some research or want to get an area-specific knowledge of TCP/IP applications.

a book isnt the best way to learn, but to practice in work on a project. I will do some socket programming in Swift in the coming days. ;-)
