I am using Visual Studio 2019 community. There is a Richtextbox on their toolbar under all windows forms. It is also checked on the form for choosing toolbar items under .NET framework components It is grayed out so I can't use it. Is there a way to make this control available? If not, what is this control you are using? is it easy to use?

Thanks for your help.

What I have tried:

I don't know what to try at this point. I presume I need to register an but I don't what is would be.

What type of project are you writing? The control will only work in a Windows Forms project. Also, you have to have a Form open in the designer, and it has to have the focus, for the Toolbox items to become available.

There are likely plenty of controls online you can find for what you need.
