sorry mr., that post is not relevant to this one as i have no sub reports. I have a blank report with some textobjects in it and i am just trying to connect it with my ACCESS database and after connecting when i build the solution it gives the above error. (My database also has password in it and i tried removing it and it did not help at all)

And your last method tells a way to connect without changing settings but in my case it is not possible as it needs every configuration enabled.

if i rename it manually each time after build there might be a chance that i forget to rename it and it is also not possible to remember renaming it everytime and i cannot risk customers data to get corrupted. any other suggestion my dear friend?

I explain the whole situation. i have 2 project in a solution 1st is the main and core application which has all the calculations in it and second project has some piece of code that just corrupts the software (as per my requirement). so i made the second application as windows application too.So, at the time when i need to corrupt the software the other exe corrupts the main software and that is why i need the 2nd project exe to be hidden so that user doesn't crash the main software by mistake.

see my friend the code is not at all complex like you mentioned above and as far as selection is concerned it is done by using simple method of textbox : "textbox.Select(start,length)".

see sir, i have created a user control inherited a textbox now what i wanted was that whenever i type "this.ActiveControl" i want to see the custom property of the textbox named "IsValidate" and the code should look like this "this.ActiveControl.IsValidate" but "isvalidate" wont show as it is not present in the "Control class" and thats where i need your help
