I dont think you understood the question or perphaps i wasnt quite able to explain it.
What my problem is
some people would not encrypt data at all on the pen drive
others may may delete the encrypted data(dont need a password)and then copy the plain data into the pen drive
the problem here is that people will willing encrypt data when its there own dta that they are worried about( pics, passwords etc)
What i was looking for was forcefull encrytion of data on pen drive. As data is copied into pen drive it gets encrypted real time.

I had downloaded the autoIt v3, and then run the script there.
there wasnt any interface that appeared,a small icon appeared on right hand corner of the taskbar, indicating that the script had paused.

Thnx a ton.....for all yuor help and i appologise for disturbing you with these questions, but i hav read all the articles you had provided... it seems to provide infotmation on public key cryptography.... but i am still unable to understand how would that help in the blocking of usb drives....
now i do understand that you had said that the public key is to be saved in the usb drive and the pvt key in the hard disk...and the combination of the two would authenticate the device....
am i on the right track????
