MenuControl is the menu control for a form. You instantiate one and assign it to your form's .Menu property. I'll modify the code to show that.
What you need are a collection of objects (call them MenuItem) each representing a menu. Each of these objects has a list of MenuItems, each representing a menu selection. They have to be the same object type if you want to call them recursively. The "top" parent level object can also contain information about the menu as a whole (in the selection objects those properties would be unused).
If you want to give the menu and selection different classes (so you don't have unused properties) that would work as well. When you create your menu just pass the top level selection objects to the recursive method (I'll write you up a code example of what I'm talking about if you'd like)

Thanks! I was having the darndest time getting this code formatted, for some reason.

Oops, bug fix just now...The line that recursively calls BuildMenus in BuildMenus should have sent newItem, not menuItem.

Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work either. I set up a sample form using it, and can successfully block any other key combination, but alt-tab is not blocked.

What are you trying to do? Do you just want to give the datagridview columns the same name as the columns that they were filled from? Or do you want to create the columns first, in a particular order and load them with data from the corresponding column?

Are you sure that your RowIndex is on the first row? Might you be pointing at the header row? Check the object bound to the row and see if it has the data which you are expecting.

What do you mean by the "header"? The first line of the document?

Please give us a more detailed explanation of what you are trying to do. Are you simply trying to copy one .doc file over another? What does "with Image" mean? Are you using an Image object for something? Do you have no idea how to do what you are trying to do and just need a place to start, or do you have code which isn't working?

Let me see if I understand what you are wanting. You want the asynch processes to start and you don't want to wait for them to finish. You want them to just run independently and then the application will move on and not be concerned with the processes any more. Is this correct?

If you are having a hard time explaining how the match is to be found, then please give me an example of at least ten matches, and I will figure out the rule. Then I will give you code and you can test to see if any matches are left out.

Sure. Can you explain to me the rule just in English how the match is to be found?
For example, if itemcontainermaster matches dw_item_container_list
Here are some examples of what the rule might be:
1. Separate file2 into "words" separated by "_". In this example the "words" would be
("DW", "ITEM", "CONTAINER", "LIST").
2. If the first four letters of file1 are the same as the 2nd "word" in file2
-AND-
the third word in file2 is found in file1 starting at position 4

Let me see if I understand what you are trying to do.
For each file in Directory1
{
___For each file in Directory2
___{
______If the files match
______{
_________[do something here]
______}
___}
}
Which part of the above "pseudo code" are you stuck on?

What is it you are copying? Are you copying the contents of one file to another (File.Copy)? Or do you need to open up the files and manipulate only part of the text inside them? Or are you trying to change the names of the target files?

You need to give us more detail. It looks like what you are doing is taking the value that the user selected in the dropdown list and putting that value into a textbox in the grid.
What is the problem? Does it not work? Are you getting an error? Or it this not what you are trying to do? Please describe in detail what is currently happening, and what you want to happen (instead).

You "upload a file" to what? What is it stored in? What are the tags stored in, and how are they attached to or associated with the files?

1. What are you using for "making time table"? Are you creating a table using MS SQL? Or is this a C# collection that has time properties? Show us the code that you are using to "make" it?
2. What is the result that you are getting? What is the result that you want? Show us in such a way that we can see clearly the difference.
3. If you are seeing any error messages, show them clearly.

How do you select data in your combo box? And what does this data represent?
It sounds like you are saying the combo box contains a list of patients who have not been "processed". The user selects one to process, and after that, the patient with that patient ID should not appear in combo box. Is this correct?

Are you going to use the information as an array, or do you want to read it into a custom class object?

Create a List<object> (you don't have to know beforehand how many columns there are, and you can always ToArray it) and loop through your column values, getting the object value from the column. If you want to get fancy, convert it to string, then translate it into the appropriate data type using the column type (if you want to get that fancy). Depends on what you want to do with it after you put it into your collection.

Give me a concrete example of what the user might be seeing on the form, what the information that he is seeing represents, and what he would want to do with that information.
For example, you might say "The user has a list of sentences. When he selects a sentence, a listbox beside the sentences is populated with all the tags for that sentence. The user may want to delete one of the tags by selecting the tag and clicking the Delete button. After all deletions have been done, user clicks button to send information to the database. How do I convey to the database what tags have been deleted?"
This is the level of detail you should give so that we can help you.

I'm sorry, but your added description does not make it clearer what you want to do. So you have an arraylist of sentences, and an arraylist of...arraylists of tags? Or is the second an arraylist of tags? What does the second arraylist represent? I assume it has something to do with the sentences? And what controls are you using to display the sentences and secondary arraylist to the usewr?

What is the error that you are seeing? Or are you saying that even if you expect the checkbox to be unchecked, the .Checked value is true?
