Thanks for pointing that. I have updated my solution. In regards to the English, as question was asked in English and also does not mention explicitly about the language, I assumed it will just consider English as language(it is my best guess :)) to find out consonants.

I had quick test your code looks like problem in the System.IO.StringWriter stringWrite = new System.IO.StringWriter();. The problem you havn't pass any string or stringbuilder object as input or you havn't set the string for it. For quick fix try with this line System.IO.StringWriter stringWrite = new System.IO.StringWriter(dataToExport);
Hope it helps :)

you need to add System.Configuration dll as reference to you class library and you could use this following method to grab the Conncetionstring by passing the connection string name,
namespace Utilities
{
using System.Configuration;
public static class ConfigurationReader
{
#region Public Methods
///
/// Gets the key value from configuration file.
///
/// <param name="key">The key.</param>
/// <returns>
public static string GetKeyValue(string key)
{
return ConfigurationManager.AppSettings[key];
}
#endregion
}

.Net Reflector will give all answer for you questions. Anyway, for the property you declare public int MyProperty { get; set; }, in the background .Net will create following private field
[CompilerGenerated]
private int <myproperty>k__BackingField;
and for the get and set of MyProperty will have following code to access compiler generated private field,
[CompilerGenerated]
public void set_MyProperty(int value)
{
this.<myproperty>k__BackingField = value;
}
[CompilerGenerated]
public int get_MyProperty()
{
return this.<myproperty>k__BackingField;
}
Hope it helps :)

answer was based on the request, in the question it was mentioned Substring. Anyway, I do agree about the GetFileName(), as framework does good job with that specially, CheckInvalidPathChars...return path.Substring(num2 + 1, (length - num2) - 1);....and so on. :)

Copy the Intersect method and put somewhere in your class and call the method and this method will return a string which you can use for example, MessageBox.Show(Intersect ());
Just be aware I wrote a console app to show you, where as you are using a windows app. So just use Intersect method.
