hi sir ,

my problem is hiding the url extension like

my page like visible
http://localhost:1234/ExampleProject/Employee/Gridoperation.aspx in browser,

but i want like this http://localhost:1234/ExampleProject/Employee/Gridoperation/

i was tride in web.config file like for example

XML

<rewrite>
     <rules>
       <rule name="Redirect to WWW" stopProcessing="true">
         <match url=".*" />
         <conditions>
           <add input="{HTTP_HOST}" pattern="^carlosag.net$" />
         </conditions>
       
       </rule>
     </rules>
   </rewrite>

but i am getting intelligence error like
system.webserver has invalid child elements 'rewrite'

this is my problem, pls see once my problem .

Remove the rewrite tag from system.webserver, find the correct parent node (read the documentation on rewrite tag)

how to add this <%@ Import Namespace="System.Web.Routing" %> routing namespace in visualstudio2008
frame work 3.5 .

It should be available from 3.5 SP1 onwards. Try adding the reference if its not by right clicking and add reference.
