This is what happened.
I have an application WPF application. I opened a lot of tabs.
Here are the steps:

If I double clicked one tab, it'll be undocked.
I maximized the undocked WPF.
Then, docked the undocked WPF.
After docking, the other tabs are maximized.

How to correctly dock an undock WPF if the undock WPF is maximized?

What kind of docking are you talking about? Some special tab-control? Do you mean "window" instead of WPF? - "undock WPF" doesn't make sense....
