hi to all , please someone can help me , i work in the project " Gps tracking " i need to khnow how can i program the gps reader (how can i receive the datastream from Gps device ) , and how save it in a data base . Thanks a lot

i'm new in this domain and i don't have any idea for this , we have a tracker vt300 ,I searched in all document talking about geolocation unfortunately i don't find his gprs frame .
i need someone how can give me an example of a gprs frame , and can guide me how I can start processing (receiving, cut out the frame and save it in the database).

Have you asked the manufacturer? It's usual for them to provide assistance to people wanting to use their equipement

it's my final studies project , and they don't give me any thing , any idea . i should do all by my self .

I think it is far more acceptable for a final studies project to do some research with the manufacturer than it is to ask here for a solution!

However, valid research is usually acceptable in any project - but note that plagiarism (copying someone else's work) is never acceptable. Asking questions in this forum does not constitute research.

Suggestions:

Approach the manufacturer or use the handbook to find out how to receive data from the device.

Once you know what form that data will take, then do some further research to determine how to save that data into a database.

If you come across problems then come back with a specific question, posting the code that you have a problem with and a description of the problem or error.
