I really love the 2002-published book,it's easy and handy. Am I going to miss a lot of stuff by ignoring the 2012 book?
Help with your experiences please!

I would say that depends on the book and your specific level of understanding of the topics covered by the book, and your interests.

Unfortunately, my psychic powers fail to tell me which book you are talking about, or anything about you except that you believe some people do have psychic powers :)

Sorry about this misconception, I assume that not all of you read the same 2 books, my question was generally.
Anyway the books are: 1-Mastering visual C# .Net (2002)
2-C# 5.0 in a nutshell (2012)

1 solution

C# and .NET now have a lot of useful features (such as LINQ) that were not yet there in 2002. If you want to be up-to-date with the more recent technologies, then I'd recommend to use the 2012 book.
