I have two servers installed sqlserver management studio 2008r2 ,before update the windows (windows server 2008 standard ) can easily connect to remote server and vice versa.But after update iam unable to connect both servers to each other i face problem while connecting to server 1 the error

A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the log in process(provider :TCP provider ,error : 0- An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.) ( Microsoft sqlserver ,error :10054 )

From the second server if i try to connect server 1 sql management studio i go error

Index was outside the bounds of the array .(system.Data)

SERVER 1

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP2) - 10.50.4000.0 (X64) Jun 28 2012 08:36:30 Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

SERVER 2

Both machine having same version

Please, follow these instructions: Troubleshooting: Connection Forcibly Closed[^]

If it won't help, i would check additionally:
1) tcp/ip[^] or named pipes[^] connections are enabled
2) windows firewall enables remote connections[^] to sql server

I added the key SynAttackProtect in the registry and also restarted the server but no effect still having the same error. I checked the TCP/IP and named pipes are also enabled . The firewall is disabled in both servers.

I'd suggest to install the newest service pack for ms sql server: link[^].

I have installed the latest version of sqlserver but still having same error?
