Hi I'm looking for a book to learn how can I build a program that can convert speech to word?

Have you tried to google it? There should be a lot of information. I think there are several articles here in CP as well.

Other posibility is to check the online book handlers with user reports

I had google it, but I found there are many fields in voce recognition, like speaker identifier , speech recognition, natural language processing , etc.
I am newbie in this field and I want to be sure I must study in which field to reach my specific purpose(converting voice to word)?

How do you define 'best'? There are plenty of reference materials on voice recognition. The reason they are different is because it is a large field and there are many implementations and many platforms that use it. We cannot guess what your specific requirements are and so cannot make specific recommendations.

That's because there is a lot of information to be considered. The best tip I can give you is to choose an area, read different sources of information, keep the one you think is the best (easier to understand, more complete...). Change the area, read, pick the best. Change area and so on...

Then start programming and tests.

I want to write a program that can get different people's sound as input and gives the correspondent word as output! And my interest language is c++. I don't know much about voice recognition and seeking to find a good starting point.

Do you want to build the recognition engine yourself, or do you want to integrate an existing recognition engine into your application?
