how to add reference of c# dll to windows phone 8 project

i am working on Windows phone 8 locking system using iris. So i have to add reference of SURF library in my project but dont know why it gives me error.

which is "A reference to higher version or incompatible assembly cannot be added to the project".

Can anyone tell me how to add dll to the windows phone 8 project or how to resolve this issue

.Net framework version may be a problem. Could you check the versions of your project and the dll's framework version please ?

As far as i know you can't add c# library to windows phone or windows 8 apps.

As they are different from normal libraries.

Hi,

I have created a SIP client for Windows Phone. To be able to add the required VoIP componenets it was needed to install .NET Framework.
