ajax calling not working until browser reload or refresh asp.net mvc3 partial view

I have cshtml page, which contains a partial view and two button type button. I want to reload partial view on button click event using ajax calling. But facing a problem here. The ajax calling not working directly until browser refresh or reload. Pls let me know how i can handle this odd situations???
