How to select a part of image and Change the color using C sharp

Hi All,

I want to select a part of image and change the color using c sharp.
For ex: In a image of Rose flower with leaf. I want to select the Rose alone and change the flower color to differnt color.

Is that possible in c sharp. I have no knowledge about this Please help me by providing any links to learn and samples and what are the basic things i have to learn.
