windows phone app crashing if toast notification is clicked (if phone is pin locked)

I am working with a windows phone app. my app will receive toast notifications. if user taps on toast notification a service call will be made to fetch the data from my wcf service. this is working fine if the phone is normally locked , or if my app is not running.

but whenever the phone is pin locked, if the user taps on toast notification it is asking to enter the pin, after user provides the pin app is crashing with web exception.

can you please suggest me is there any thing that i need to do to make it work properly.
