File Upload control not working in Windows Phone 8

In our ASP.Net Web Application (.Net 4.0) application we are using AJAX file upload control and .Net file upload control To upload files for various scenarios and devices.But both the control failed when i try to select the file from a Windows phone 8(In my case it is Lumia 720).The current behaviour is when i select on browse nothing is happening and this is same for ajax toolkit upload control also. Is there anything we are missed out.Because in gmail and hotmail app can able to browse the album. Any help would really save my day.
