Install SQL Server 2005 Developer on WINDOWS 8

During setup I received an error The SQL Server service failed to
start. For more information, see the SQL Server Books Online topics,
“How to: View SQL Server 2005 Setup Log Files” and “Starting SQL
Server Manually.”

Kindly Give solution with detail

It would be interesting to hear if it works for the OP. According to Microsoft, SQL Server 2005 is not supported on Windows 8: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2681562[^]

there is some solution but not clear that where paste this file from sp4
its incomplete
where is paste these file in installation folder and I download sp3 there is no one file with this name...

sp3/sp4 is ur sql server service pack..and the files you have to past inside sql server installation folder..
