If I were to want to port an unix based operating system to my Iphone, what changes would it have to under go before it could run on the device? This is not a question about getting the OS on the device, but more about how to make it run. Now my first thought would be that i would have to change the kernel some how to get it to function with the Iphone's hardware.

If you need to create your own Linux distro with your own kernel, don't you think asking just one question would be not enough? :-)
