Hello,
I downloaded and executed (as an admin) "OfficeProgrammingHelper.exe". However, the Add-Ins menu in Excel's VBA editor is empty ...
What can I do to get OfficeProgrammingHelper up and running?
Thank you in advance for your ideas and suggestions!

What I have tried:

In the VBA editor, I can see in "Extras/References" that the entry OfficeProgrammingHelper points to "C:\Program Files\OfficeProgrammingHelper\Bin\OfficeProgrammingHelper.tlb". Windows does not allow me to change this to the .dll file.
In Excel (File/Options/Add-Ins) there are "Inactive Application Add-Ins", but no active or deactivated ones. I was not able to add the helper via "Excel-Add-Ins" (couldn't find an appropriate file) or "COM-Add-Ins" (Error: this is not a valid Add-In).
This is a German 64bit MS Office installation on Windows 11. (I hope I translated the German names of menus and messages in a helpful way ...)

You're going to have to ask whoever you got it from. If it was from an article here at CP, there is a forum at the bottom of the article to ask your questions.

Don't post this under Quick Answers - if you got the code from an article, then there is a "Add a Comment or Question" button at the bottom of that article, which causes an email to be sent to the author. They are then alerted that you wish to speak to them.
Posting this here relies on them "dropping by" and realising it is for them.

I assume it's this: Office Programming Helper Indent VB Code[^] but your browser history will show you where to go.
