How do I edit the index.php file?

I have a problem with the index.php file on my website https://kinemax.cc/

Every time I try to open it the message "Silence is golden" pops up.
What is it?
I'm using the dooplay theme, and it's making my job terribly difficult when I can't edit the index.php file directly.

All changes you see on the page relate to changes in other files
