I've recently started using Microsoft Edge since it is a lightweight browser in Linux, and i cannot find a way to configure the proxy unlike Firefox which was Damn simple.
I want the Proxy to listen in localhost :8000.

if you have no idea like me, Please enlighten me with some Browsers which are lighter than Edge in linux. Thanks

What I have tried:

In the settings, there is no in-browser setting for proxy, rather it directs us to the system settings (which is annoying) and linux doesn't have a man page for Microsoft edge Cmdline. So how do i configure a proxy server?

This site is for programming question, not browser support. If you've got a problem with configuring Edge, try calling Microsoft Support.

bro just ignore it if you've no idea about it!

First, not your "bro".

You're not getting the hint. I'm telling you this site is not the best place for browser support on Linux. The Linux community around here is very small and the chances of one of them seeing your post is vanishingly small.

I just told you where the best source of information on your problem is going to be. That's all, but apparently that's not good enough for you because you actually had to do the work of dialing a phone.

Did you try your favorite search engine on "Linux Microsoft Edge Proxy"?
