What tech stack should I use to develop an android messenger?

I'm really interesed in what techs should I use to develop an android messenger. I would like to get whole information starting with design, ending with server services. I've decided to use Java for back-end and use XML\Kotlin + Jetpack for front-end. I want your advice either extend my stack or something instead of that.

What I have tried:

I am thinking about using Firebase for online database, RabbitMQ for offline database, Jetpack Compose to design.
