Hi everyone,

To give some context, I work in the credit risk department of a financing firm. Currently, if a customer/employee wants to get a credit opinion on a firm, they would send us an email with their financial statements. As it's not very practical for us to keep track of all the requests we get, I have been looking for easy (and cheap) alternatives.

What I have tried:

The first idea that came to my mind was creating a simple website with an input form and a drop space to upload files. I have some experience with HTML/CSS/Java but it's relatively limited... and never created a website before. Any advice on how complicated this would be? How much time would it take approximately? Any useful links on how I could get started on this? In terms of $, how much would it cost to maintain a simple website like this? I assume there will be some fees for to store the files somewhere as well?

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Please don't hesitate either to propose better alternatives than a website.

The question is far too broad for a Quick Answers forum. I suggest you look at ASP.NET | Open-source web framework for .NET[^], and maybe W3Schools Online Web Tutorials[^] for ideas.
