I have completed a project on MVC, but the new requirement is to read the data from tag using barcode scanner machine and update the MVC grid data and submit the page.

Thanks in advance!!!

What I have tried:

I have tried only using windows application, but for web application have not much idea how can I start this

Your first task, then, is to research the hardware interface and communication protocol with the specific model of scanner you use. Until you do that, and do some experimenting, how could we possibly help you ?

Second, you need to identify and define any specific challenges in communication with the scanner that using a Web Form app presents.

Look at the articles listed under "Related Questions" on the right side of this page, and study them.
