How do i...fix this url in order to upload to mobile phone

Hi, I would appreciate help. I am trying to upgrade my mobile windows 8.1 to 10 (apparently this is still possible despite the upgrade ending in 2019) through Otc Upgrader but at the point of uploading receive a message, "There was no endpoint listening at https://fe2.update.microsoft.com/v6/ClientW". I read one post here about the endpoint listening (a bad url). Is there a way to fix this? Thank you and kind regards, Anisa

What I have tried:

Have downloaded the files from Microsoft. Have tried to contact but their support ended last year.

Solution 1

If there is a problem with their installation, then there is nothing we can do to help: you need MS to assist, or a Windows Mobile specific forum. Try going back to where you found the info on how to upgrade and see what they can do.

Or ... just buy an Android phone - it'll be loads easier, and probably cheaper & less stressful in the long run ...

Thank you for the advice. I wish you could actually reach someone to help you at Microsoft. It would be great to get another phone; circumstances are preventing that which is why I had hoped to solve this one. :-) Best wishes, Anisa
