We are working on WHQL Certification for fingerprint device.

We are able to pass all the testcases except Fingerprint Reader Logo Tests.

We get stuck at the point when the test prompt to "swipe finger to select sensor.." No response on scanning the finger on the reader.

As mention in Fingerprint reader logo tests about prerequisite:

"Before running any fingerprint reader driver or adapter tests, stop and disable the Windows Biometric Service. If the biometric service is running while the fingerprint reader HCK tests execute, there may be a conflict between the two, and test results will not be accurate."

I have manually stopped and disabled Windows Biometric Service but still i am getting same result.

I am not sure what would be status of Windows biometric Service status when we start test.

If some one can guide me it will be very helpful for us.

OS under Test : Windows 10(x64 bit, Version 1903,Build Version :18362)

Server OS : Windows Server 2016 (x64 bit ,Version 1607, Build version : 14393.447)

HLK version : 1903

What I have tried:

I have already tried below :

1. Stopped and disabled Windows biometric service on server OS before running test
2. Stopped and disabled windows biometric service on client OS.
3. Tried running test while Windows biometric service running on client OS

The question would be better posted to the providers of the fingerprint device. It is not a programming issue.
