Last year I finished a project with WPF/C# (with actual help from this forum) that I thought was impossible, with just some 300 lines of code. However I will never observe C# code or any other language as I can observe Pascal, which is the first language I learned back when it was relevant.

Now I want to make a program that manipulate images in binary, for windows but I want to be possible to make a Linux version in the future, and since I code for fun, I want to try it with my favorite language.

1) Is there any version of Pascal out there that will allow me to finish such program?

2) should I expect any help for this language in this forum? or at all

Thanks

What I have tried:

This is a question for not trying in vain

I have not written any Pascal for more than 30 years. And I never met any other developers who used it since then. I guess it has been overtaken by the C family.

I had a great teacher on that class at early 00s, as a result I learned that thing, I still miss the declared variables at the beginning... I give all the brackets of C any day for ''began'' and ''end'', the tables are also better presented ... Pascal makes sense like arguing in a human language

You may try Lazarus[^].

Since it is your favourite language, you're expected to help us. :-)
