I'm asking if the files are no longer hosted in their original server do the exists on the Internet Archive?

What I have tried:

I have tried to cache on the Internet Archive a page with audio files attached, it did not cache the files just the text.

No. Only the HTML is cached, it (generally) has no direct access to the data behind that. Think about it: to cache the whole site, it would need direct access to the DB server to cache a snapshot of the whole database which would be a massive security violation.

You can't access files that are no longer on the relevant server.

No. It only caches the site HTML.
