I have downloaded Teradata Express 16.20_Sles11 as VM from the Teradata website. I need to create an ODBC DSN for Teradata so that I can connect it with ODBC data sources, but I don't know how to create it in Linux and also for Teradata.

I have created dsn's for SQL and oracle in windows but for Teradata, they don't support windows and its a VM in SUSE Linux. SO could you please tell me steps to create an ODBC DSN for Teradata Express 16.20_Sles11 which I downloaded.

What I have tried:

I tried to search in good but I am not sure what I have to do. No clear steps are provided. Since I am new to Suse Linux I don't know how to do it.

I am no expert so did a quick Google.

I would suggest you to start from here and then post specific queries if any once you try: ORACLE-BASE - Create an ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) on Linux[^]
