Hello readers. I was having problem in building a project with MSBuild so I asked for a solution here. A humble person named Shao Voon Wong suggested me to use the command line tools which I could download from here. After looking at this I thought it was my lucky day but was it? Soon after reading about it on the Visual Studio website, I found that it requires same system requirements as VS. Now the problem is that Visual Studio recommends at least 2 GB RAM but I only have 1. So can I run these *command line* tools on only 1 GB? I am seeking my answer in a simple yes or no *with* a satisfactory reason. Thank you for your precious time.

What I have tried:

Searched on the internet about system requirements of these tools but didn't satisfy myself with the answer.

You spend more time asking the same questions over and over again instead of simply trying it, and uninstalling if it doesn't satisfy. Nobody else is running with "1GB", so the rest is just opinions and feelings. Or add more memory.

OK, I think it's on me now. I won't disappoint you. The next question will only be related to programming and coding stuff.

Yes. As Gerry suggests above, instead of asking whether things can be done, just try it and you will find the answer immediately.
