hi dear coders:

I am currently dealing with html & css and javascript.
Assume please we copy-paste the codes of one template website from a textbook and after buying hosting service and redesigning it via very small changes on it,we open that website as our own.

then, will this contain copyright issues and cause any problem?

note please: here we will not copy paste any image, article or something like this, but we can take some of codes or entire of it.

(I am planning to make some changes in css part, will presumably include small amount of js codes.)

I am only asking question here

Regards.

What I have tried:

we will try to publish our own articles, sell some of our own projects and plan to consctruct a website.

(but not sure to utilize from some sources especially textbooks)

Unless it is written on the textbook, consider ot is not free.
Only the author of the template can tell you, seriously !
Nota: it is probably free for personal use.
