Sending mails through PowerBuilder application using lotus notes

hi,
using mailsession object in PowerBuilder 8 to send mails through PB application for salary slip processing. it works fine with microsoft outlook 2000 but when i switch to lotus notes 8.5 , i have to use send button in lotus notes to send mails for individual instead of auto sent.
is there any mail setting need to do or changes in application
