There is a component you can google for, called XPBurn. Not sure if it works in Vista, but it works in XP. There is no simple code that could be given in a forum reply, and XPBurn is buggy, but it works, I've deployed it with an app in the past ( which is how I know it has bugs )

Hi Christian,
i'm just wondering if you can progressively (day by day) burn a CD/DVD without closing a session.
I'm developing an applicaation (.NET) where i've to save daily a text file (40/80 byte) but with the IMAPI2 dll every day create a session (about 2.2 MB).
If i could finalize the media just at the end of the disk space i would use a disk X times longer and with less problems (i hope!) ;-)
ThanKs in advance for the attention

Fabio
