I hope its okay to post this code - related question here.
I have been working on a script for a 3D program for some guy. And he says now that he would like to have the script and sell it to the people he reaches with his courses on the internet.

Since I have never dealt with selling my right to my own script. How much can I charge for it?

So far only a sum for me writing the script so he can use it, but not sell it, has been set. What are some standards for that? The price we have agreed on only for delivering the script times 5? Maybe times 10?

What I have tried:

I dont have anything to write here, but I have to...

What were the Terms & Conditions discussed before the work was done? Has there been a deliverable? Have you been paid for this?

Terms & Conditions, write the script, deliver and get X amount of money.
So far he has not the script, I only sent him a screen capture how it works.
But the X amount of money was only for writing and delivering, at that time I did not know that he planned to sell the script.

Whenever I've been paid for writing code the code has then belonged to the purchaser. If you did not make it clear in your Terms & Conditions then I think the guy has every right to assume it is his and no longer yours. By the way - look up Terms & Conditions - it's not write + deliver + get paid, it's about stuff like copyright, ownership, penalty for non-delivery etc etc etc.
