I am completely new to Embarcadero RAD Studio XE.

I am wondering if anybody can recommend a good book to learn the Pascal that Delphi uses, as well as the IDE?

Cheers

I used to receive each version of Delphi in a box each full books. Original documentation. I like them the most. Some of them you can read like a book page by page, others are good reference books.

A year ago, I was new too, but I didn't read a single book, however, I can recommend some sites:
delphi.about.com[^]
http://delphibasics.co.uk/[^] - Where I learnt it.

P.S even though delphibasics.co.uk teaches an old version of Delphi, it doesn't matter, I learnt to use Delphi XE2 from there.

I'd normally advise people to avoid answering old posts, however I do believe this solution is actually useful and I like the warning about the old version.
We don't get that many Delphi posts so I really do advise that you don't resurrect other old questions.
