Hi guys.

Wanted to ask if anybody tried using Telegram or Twilllo chat platforms in your apps?

What I have tried:

We built a location-sharing social app with it's own simple chat. Our clients now want more chat features (emojis, multimedia, the message read/writing notifications, etc). Thought it would make sense to check out what's available as open source (Telegram) or an SDK such as Twilio to save us some time. We did give it a good try over last couple weeks - but ran in to problems with both platforms - Telegram did not seem to have much in terms of documentation, had a lot of dependencies, and would not compile; and Twilio sample project also would not work after investing a good day in setting it up - documentation seemed sporadic and confusing. Wanted to ask for feedback on what everybody is using for a chat on your projects?

Thank you in advance for your advice!

And you have right now reduced your chances of getting an answer by being impatient. Now your question is not in the "unanswered" list anymore, and a lot of users just check only that list.
