I used C ++ to create an ActiveX ocx file that performs simple arithmetic operations.
I created an inf file to install ocx and compressed the inf file and ocx file into a cab file.
I have to install the cab file on my PC without using the internet browser.

What I have tried:

To install the cab file I used "rundll32.exe advpack.dll, LaunchINFSectionEx " command, but it does not work at all.

Please advise to solve this problem.

ActiveX in browsers is dead. Nobody supports it any longer.

Nobody uses ActiveX (aka ActiveExcrement) if they can possibly avoid it. It's insecure. Find another way.
