Can't load excel format into ASP.NET using VB, net and oracle

Hi, i'm trying to upload excel file(xls,xlsx only)in asp.net using vb.net(visual studio 2010,.net frame work 4)and oracle database(pl/sql developer) i can't load this file when i click on on input field. I'm quite new to ASP.NET,vb.net and oracle so any suggestions would be very welcome!
