Synchronization between more than one sink node in RPL

I use the RPL routing protocol and I simulate it in Cooja. I would like to ask you if you have an idea how can I change the firmware code of the sink node to let more than one sink node synchronize with each other and if there is congestion the load will be split until the situation improved .

What I have tried:

I tried to see the sink-node.c program to understand how it works but no results.
