Session, viewbag prevent download

See more:

while I click on download icon it's starting downloading...

but my page is stuck until my download, not complete.

if I remove session or viewbag then my page is not stuck and i able to click multiple time on download and multiple files can download at once.

What I have tried:

when I use session then a page is refresh after a single click on download.
at a time only one file download.

Solution 1

just add one line to your controller

[SessionState(System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateBehavior.ReadOnly)]

observe now everything working fine.
