SQL Server charset encoding problem

Hi, I have client application and a SQL server. Client stores strings to a varchar field in SQL Server and retrieves it again. Te problem is that I need a byte array and when I store in the database and recover the data all chars 128 are converted to 63. I know it's about charset and encoding but don't find how to solve it.

Any idea?

Solved. Changed Server field to Binary.
